This gorgeous trek bordering Yosemite National Park is likely to check all the boxes! The aptly named Green Lake (for its beautiful turquoise color) is tucked away in the Hoover Wilderness between stunning peaks and an impressive waterfall. The Hoover Wilderness is an remarkable piece of California’s Sierra Nevada mountain range. Soaring peaks, glistening lakes and lush meadows are just some of its wondrous spectacles. Customize the second day of this trek however you would like! There are five majestic lakes surrounding our Green Lake camp that make a perfect outing for a second day with light daypacks, or try a themed trek to make this trip even more memorable!

This trek follows well maintained trails and has an easy to moderate hiking distance of about 4-6 miles per day. It is considered an easy to moderate Level 1-2 trek (Day 2 is customizable to be as easy or challenging as you wish!) Weight carried will be between 20-30 lbs per person. On Day 2, the hike to the surrounding lakes will be done in lighter daypacks to make this a more manageable "Basecamp" style trek!
